POTSDAM -- Community Performance Series will serve up food and entertainment with its seventh annual Gourmet Guys & A Gal fundraiser Saturday, Jan. 28 at 5 p.m. in Thatcher Hall on the SUNY Potsdam campus.
Gourmet Guys & A Gal was started by CPS in 2006, and continues to be the organization's most important fundraiser.
Four local chefs team up to design a gourmet menu just for the occasion.
The chefs include: George Arnold, director of dining services at SUNY Potsdam; Steve Maiocco, executive chef at SUNY Potsdam; Wally Siebel, guest chef at 1844 House restaurant, and Jenny Walker, co-owner and chef at 1844 House.
The five-course dinner will be served by a number of community volunteers and the CPS staff.
Musical entertainment for the evening will be provided by local jazz group A Fine Line.
Tickets for the event are $75 per person, with proceeds benefiting Community Performance Series.
Reservations can be made by calling the CPS Box Office at 267-2277.
The Gourmet Guys & A Gal menu is available online at www.cpspotsdam.org Reservations must be made by Friday, Jan. 20.
