CANTON -- A Sept. 27 golf tournament at St. Lawrence University's Appleton course will raise money for Clarkson physician assistant students going on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic.
The entry fee for the 18-hole, four-person scramble event is $60, or $55 for students. It includes a chicken barbeque dinner and chances to win team and hole prizes.
There will be contests for mulligans and putting.
Prizes include greens fees, a golf getaway, car wash kit, hammock, oil change, hair cuts, a handmade blanket, massages, Clarkson hockey tickets, a golf bag, a coffee kit, Clarkson merchandise and a fitness basket.
There is a 25-team cap and the sign-up deadline is Sept. 20.
Those who wish to attend the dinner and get a chance at raffles will be charged $20.
Entries should include the names of players, contact information and a check payable to Clarkson University Pass. Mail entries to Clarkson PA Studies, P.O. Box 5882, Potsdam, NY 13699-5882.
