GOUVERNEUR -- There will be a golf tournament to benefit the Gouverneur High School Wall of Fame on Aug. 9 at the Gouverneur Country Club.
The tournament is open to the first 18 teams to enter and registration for the event begins at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start at 10 a.m.
The format is four-person scramble. The registration fee of $60 per person includes greens fees for 18 holes, a cart, dinner and prizes.
Prizes will be awarded for closest to the pin and longest drive. There will also be prize and 50/50 raffles. Prizes will also be awarded for first and second place and the winners names will be displayed on a plaque placed in the Gouverneur High School Wall of Fame.
