CANTON – Traditional Arts in Upstate New York will host two workshops in preparation for the holiday season.
• On Thursday, Nov. 18, from 7 to 9 p.m., Brenda Snow of White's Flowers in Canton will teach participants to make boxwood tree centerpieces from a variety of evergreens. The cost is $20 for TAUNY members, $25 for non-members. All materials are provided, but participants may bring decorative elements to incorporate into their trees.
• On Saturday, Nov. 20, from 10 a.m. to noon, Sue Wilder will offer her annual workshop for interested gingerbread builders. The workshop, which is ideal for children with parents or grandparents, will be held at the First Presbyterian Church in Canton. The cost is $25 for TAUNY members and $30 for non-members.
