POTSDAM – The class “Get to Know Your Sewing Machine” with Mary Holland will be held Thursday, April 5, from 1-4 p.m. at SLC Arts, in Old Snell Hall, on Elm Street.
The class, for ages 10 and older, will teach the basics of running a machine.
Students should bring their own machine if they prefer, with the owner’s manual, pedal and power cord, thread, bobbins, sewing machine needles, sharp small scissors, and any attachments or tools that come with the machine.
The Arts Council will have machines available for use as well. The class will cost $48, or $38 for members.
