New works by eleven German artists, including sculptural works and installations, are featured in the exhibition, along with artworks created through Combat Paper and the Peace Paper Project and artworks selected from St. Lawrence University’s permanent collection.
Drew Matott and Jana Schumacher, artists-in-residence, will be on campus September 4-8.
On Monday, Sept. 4, at 4:30 p.m., the Richard F. Brush Art Gallery will present a Poetry for Peace event in the gallery.
One of the artists in the papermaking exhibition, Ben Aleshire, will also read a poem.
The reading will be followed by a reception with the exhibition curators, Drew Matott and Jana Schumacher, and other local papermakers.
All events are free and open to the public.
