POTSDAM -- On June 27 from 1 to 2:30 p.m., the Potsdam library will offer a workshop on genealogy research using the website “Family Search.”
A news release from the library says the Family Search website “rivals Ancestry.com in the number of resources it makes available and has many that cannot be found elsewhere, such as wills and land records.”
It is free and can be used by anyone with internet access.
This class will provide an introduction to the website and its resources, show how to search on the site, and demonstrate how to download and save materials.
