CANTON -- The St. Lawrence Valley Genealogical Society (SLVGS) and the St. Lawrence County Historical Association (SLCHA) are sponsoring a chance to use the research room of the St. Lawrence County Historical Association, 3 East Main St.
This will be an open-house type meeting beginning at 10 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 30. Several genealogy researchers will be on hand to answer questions and assist attendees with their research.
At 11 a.m., Norm Young will talk about online newspaper searching, and using Adobe Acrobat Reader in conjunction with research.
