CANTON – The public is invited to GardenShare’s Growing Community Reception at the TAUNY Center, 53 Main St., on Saturday, Jan. 20, from 2-4 p.m.
The event will feature free homemade chili, cornbread, cake and information about GardenShare programs.
GardenShare representatives will present the Growing Community Award to Edwards-Knox Edwards-Knox Central School, which is being recognized for its ongoing commitment to the Community Eligibility Provision.
The school, under the provision, provides all their students access to free breakfast and lunch without household applications or stigma.
