CANTON – GardenShare’s Fight Hunger 5K is set for Sept. 11 at the Remington Recreation Trail.
Registration starts at 12:30 p.m. Minimum suggested donation is $10.
Walkers will start at 1 p.m., and runners begin at 1:30 p.m.
You can enter as a solo or as a team from work, school or your place of worship. People are encouraged to ask friends, family classmates and co-workers to make a donation for a sponsorship. People may bring in their registration forms, available at http://www.gardenshare.org/content/fight-hunger-5k-0, and any cash or checks collected, to registration on 5K day.
There will be T-shirts for anyone who raises more than $50, whether participating as an individual or as part of a team. And there are prizes for the top fundraisers.
