CANTON -- As part of Canton's “Winterfest, GardenShare will present an evening focused on new farmers across the United States. The documentary “The Greenhorns” will be shown Tuesday, Feb. 10, at 7 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 31/2 East Main St. Admission is free.
“The Greenhorns” is a documentary that explores the lives, spirit, practices, and needs of America’s young farming community. By sharing the stories and voices of these new farmers, the film builds the case for anyone considering a career in agriculture.
Following the 45-minute film, GardenShare will host a discussion among panelists who represent the farming community in the North Country.
