CANTON -- Farmers and gardeners will have two chances to swap their crops Aug. 16 and 23 at the Canton Village Green from 4 to 5 p.m. and Potsdam Gazebo at Ives Park from 5 to 6 p.m.
The event is sponsored by the Sustainable Living Project. Representatives of the group say many gardeners and CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) members have an overflow of fresh vegetables at this time of year, and often have a huge amount of one particular crop and not enough of another.
This is an opportunity for gardeners to exchange their harvests. A pass-the-hat small donation is requested of participants who are able to contribute. More Info: SustLivingProject@gmail.com or call 347-4223.
