CANTON -- The Frozen Foote Series of four four-mile road races begins Saturday, Dec. 9 at St. Lawrence University.
The races are held regardless of weather conditions, starting at 10:30 a.m. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. in the lobby of Appleton Arena, Miner Street. at the SLU campus.
Registration fees are $5 for the series or $2 per race.
Frozen Foote long-sleeved t-shirts will be awarded to runners and walkers who complete three or more of the four races. The out-and-back course starts and finishes in the Appleton Arena parking lot and is run on the rolling hills of Miner Street Road. Walkers and runners are welcome.
The other races in the Saturday series will take place on the second Saturday of the month, on Jan. 13, Feb. 10 and March 10, 2018.
