NORWOOD -- The Friends of the Norwood Public Library will hold their monthly meeting Tuesday, Nov. 18 at 7 p.m. at the library, 1 Morton St.
Topics of discussion will include the upcoming book, bake and white elephant sale, scheduled for Dec.13; and the bookstore.
A new endeavor for the Friends is a “Books For Veterans” project.
They will collect books for veterans and their families at the VA Hospital in Syracuse.
This will be an ongoing project for the Friends. Donations of books, in good condition, for the sale, and for the veterans, are always appreciated.
Children’s books are in short supply at the moment, and would be especially appreciated also.
