NORWOOD -- The Friends of the Norwood Public Library are joining with the North Country Crusaders, to make a festive winter carnival "funraiser" for area children on Saturday, Feb. 24, from 1-4 p.m.
The carnival, titled “Be a Library Hero,” will be held at the Norwood Municipal building.
Children will have the opportunity to meet their Super Heros, play games, hear stories, and enjoy a magic show, balloon animals, and face painting.
Admission is $5 per child, with all activities included in the admission price.
Snacks will be provided.
The Friends are also sponsoring a raffle of Super Hero items.
Tickets are $1 each, and can be purchased at the library, or at the event.
Proceeds from this event will assist with Norwood Library’s Head Start Literacy Program.
