• "Trash To Treasure," Saturday, March 29 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Massena Community Center, 61 Beach St. Use chip or snack bags to make a new wallet or checkbook cover. For teens and adults. Bring one large or two small, clean chip or snack bags. Those who own a clothes iron can bring it.
• "Holiday Milk Jug Basket," Saturday, April 5 from 10 a.m. to noon, at the Massena Community Center, 61 Beach St. For kids ages five through 12, this teaches how to make a colorful basket using upcycled cloth and a plastic one-gallon milk jug. Participants should bring their own clean jug.
• "Project Plarn," Saturday, April 19 from 10 a.m. to noon. For teens and adults, attendees will learn to make yarn from plastic grocery bags and crochet them into tote bags. Participants should each bring 30 plastic grocery bags and a size J or K crochet hook.
• "No Sew T-Shirt Totes," Saturday, April 26 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Massena Public Library, 41 Glenn St. For children ages five to 12, the workshop teaches how to make an old t-shirt into a tote bag. Participants need to bring an old t-shirt.
