MASSENA -- The New York Power Authority (NYPA) will continue its free “Friday
Matinees” in April with showings of contemporary movies at the Hawkins Point Visitors Center.
The movies will be shown Fridays at 1:30 p.m. Free popcorn will be available.
The schedule follows:
• April 12: “Playing for Keeps,” (2012). A former sports star who has fallen on hard times starts coaching his son's soccer team as a way to get his life together.
• April 19: “The Horse Whisperer,” (1998). The mother of a severely traumatized daughter enlists the aid of a unique horse trainer to help the girl's equally injured horse.
• April 26: “Parental Guidance,” (2012). Old-school grandparents get more than they bargained for when they get stuck babysitting their overprotected grandchildren.
