POTSDAM -- SUNY Potsdam's Crane School of Music will offer free instruction on woodwind, brass and percussion instruments for area children beginning in September.
Children aged 10 to 15 can learn to play the flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, percussion and other band instruments of their choice.
Crane School of Music undergraduates, under the supervision of Caron Collins, provide weekly lessons as part of their music education curriculum.
Lessons use a variety of engaging instructional approaches and musical styles, from beginning through intermediate levels.
