Free Tai Chi for Arthritis Program planned Sept. 14 in Brasher Falls

BRASHER FALLS — The St. Lawrence County Office for the Aging; in partnership with Cornell Cooperative Extension, will sponsor a free Tai Chi for Arthritis Program at the Knights of Columbus building in September.

The classes will be held Thursdays, from 10-11:30 a.m.

The first class is Sept. 14, and runs through Nov. 16. Classes include a combination of slow moving with deep breathing exercises that allow you to improve mind, body, and spirit.

Participants will increase strength, balance and posture, reduce stress and increase relaxation.

Class size is limited and participants must register in advance.
