The following free rabies vaccination clinics are scheduled in 2018:

Jan. 27, noon-2 p.m., St. Lawrence Centre Mall, Massena;

April 4, 3-8 p.m., Canton human services building;

April 19, 6-7 p.m., Parishville fire station;

April 25, 6-7:30 p.m., Morristown highway barn and 6-7 p.m., Lisbon fire station;

May 1, 6-8 p.m., Waddington town barn;

May 8, 6-8 p.m., Massena village garage;

May 16, 6-8 p.m., Ogdensburg fire department;

May 17, 6-8 p.m., Potsdam town barn;

May 23, 6-7:30 p.m., Hammond town barn;

May 31 , 6-7 p.m., 25 Wildwood Rd., Colton;

June 13, 6-7 p.m., Russell fire department;

June 14, 6-8 p.m., Tri-Town arena and Star Lake fire hall;

June 20, 6-8 p.m., Heuvelton fire hall;

July 11, 6-8 p.m., Pierrepont town barn;

July 19, 6-8 p.m., Gouverneur town barn;

Aug. 16, 6-8 p.m., Fowler town barn;

Sept. 19, 1-3 p.m., Canton human services building;

Oct. 17, 6-8 p.m., Ogdensburg fire department;

Oct. 24, 6-7 p.m., Lisbon fire station; and

Nov. 1, 1-3 p.m., Canton human services building.

Every dog, cat (including indoor pets) and ferret three months of age or older is required by law to be vaccinated.

Dogs and cats receiving their first rabies vaccine will need a booster in one year. The booster will protect them for 3 years. Please bring current rabies certificate if you have one.

All pets must be controlled by an adult and must be on a leash or in a carrier.
