NORWOOD -- A free nurses training program will be held July 8th through August 21st at the Norwood Adult Education Center.
If you are 21 or older, lack a high school diploma, and are interested in a career in healthcare then you may be eligible for free training.
The program is also available to self pay individuals with a high school diploma. The program consists of training that includes nurse assistant classroom, laboratory and clinical learning.
Literacy instruction will include a review of basic medical math, written communication, and critical reading as well as an introduction to healthcare education.
