CANTON -- The Seventh Day Adventist Church will hold a free movie night every Saturday during January. Popcorn and juice will be served, and all movies are family friendly. All showings start at 6 p.m. The films to be shown are:
• “Second Chances,” Jan. 5; A 10 year old girl is involved in a car accident that claims her fathers life and leaves her unable to walk without crutches. She is withdrawn until her family moves next door to a horse ranch.
• “ACE of Hearts,” Jan. 12; A police officer spends more time with his canine partner, Ace, than with his family. When Ace is accused of a crime he didn’t commit, the officer’s daughter must prove Ace’s innocence.
• “Letters to God,” Jan. 19; Eight-year old Tyler fights cancer surrounded by his family and friends. Tyler writes letters to God, which find their way into the hand’s of Tyler’s postman, Brady, who is searching for meaning in life.
• “Moondance Alexander,” Jan. 26; Fifteen year old Moondance is awkward and friendless until she meets a Pinto pony named Checkers, who inspires her to pursue her dreams.
