POTSDAM -- SUNY Potsdam's Crane School of Music will offer a free Halloween concert featuring the Crane Clarinet Choir Friday, Oct. 31 at 7:30 p.m. in the Helen M. Hosmer Concert Hall.
The concert will be a celebration of varied works arranged for the clarinet -- from Romantic classics to rock 'n roll anthems.
The performance will open with the fourth movement from George Frideric Handel's "Music for the Royal Fireworks," titled "La Rejouissance."
This will be followed by Percy Grainger's "Shepherd's Hey," and selections from Ralph Vaughan Williams' "English Folk Song Suite."
The concert will be broadcast live at the performance time at www.potsdam.edu/academics/Crane/streaming.
