CANTON -- Cornell Cooperative Extension will offer a free emerald ash borer class for woodland owners Nov. 1, from 5:45-8 p.m. at the Extension Learning Farm, 2043 State Route 68.
This August, the emerald ash borer (EAB) was confirmed in both St. Lawrence and Franklin counties.
Owners of wooded lands of any acreage are encouraged to attend the EAB class led by representatives from Region 6 NYS Department of Environmental Conservation, and NYS Agriculture and Markets.
Pre-registration is requested.
