OGDENSBURG -- Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center will sponsor a free diabetes education day Thursday, Aug. 24.
The program will include information on meal planning, medications, exercise, complications, and how to make lifestyle modifications.
Speakers are Dr. Michael Seidman, and diabetes educators Karen Cole and Shannon VanHouse, Alison Felt, dietitian, and Danny Sekhon, pharmacist.
Registration and a free breakfast will begin at 8 a.m., and at noon a free lunch will be served.
The program will be held in the Claxton-Hepburn’s Hess Auditorium and end at 3 p.m.
