POTSDAM -- The sixth annual “Spring Festival of Sacred Music and Text,” a free concert featuring Potsdam’s diverse religious groups sponsored by the Ministerial Association of Potsdam, will be held Sunday, May 6 at 3 p.m.
Choirs and readers from local congregations will perform at the First Presbyterian Church, 42 Elm St. The festival brings together Potsdam’s many faiths to share sacred music and readings. It is a celebration of the mutual respect and cooperation experienced among religious groups in Potsdam.
Admission is free, but donations to United Helpers new Maplewood facility will be accepted. A reception will follow.
The mission of the ministerial association is to be an interfaith community of leaders, celebrating our unity and diversity before God, and provide mutual support and encouragement to one another.
