RUSSELL -- The Seven Steeples Missions and Ministry Group will host a “Coats for Kids” event at the Russell United Methodist Church, 28 Pestle St., on Saturday, Oct. 24, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.
New and gently used coats will be given away free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis to members of the local communities.
To donate, leave new or gently used children’s coats, mittens, boots, etc. at the Edwards, Hermon or Russell Libraries for pickup.
Monetary donations will be accepted and can be sent to Teena Dafoe, 371 Pyrites-Russell Road, Hermon, NY 13652.
Donors can make a check to Seven Steeples Missions/Ministry and indicate “Coats for Kids” on memo line.
