OGDENSBURG -- The Frederic Remington Art Museum will host their holiday open house Saturday, December 12 from noon to 4 p.m.
Admission is free.
Ogdensburg student Ryan McNally will be provide live holiday entertainment. He is a junior at Ogdensburg Free Academy who enjoys playing the piano, saxophone, and singing.
Children of all ages can visit with Santa at 2 p.m.
Parents, while you shop, children are invited to make hot cocoa, sun catchers and a Rudolph the red nosed reindeer head piece with Kayli Harradine. The museum’s education specialist, she will be in the Hirschey Gallery from noon to 2 p.m. This activity is free for children.
Harradine will be offering free holiday games for families throughout the museum at 3 p.m.
Diane LaRock will reading her new children’s book, “Grandma’s Garden,” at 3 p.m. Signed copies will be available as well as the newly released “Grandma's Garden Coloring Book.”
Barbara Briggs Ward will sign copies of her Christmas trilogy including “The Reindeer Keeper,” “The Snowman Maker “and her latest release, “The Candle Giver.”
David J. Schryver will sign copies of his book “Waterfalls of New York State.”
