OGDENSBURG -- The Frederic Remington Art Museum will hold a Color Me Remington 5K Fun Walk and Run on Sept.19 on the Maple City Trail.
The race will begin at the Dobisky Visitors' Center at 10 a.m.
Participants should come in white and be ready to get blasted with vibrant color powders.
Color Me Remington is family friendly run, not about crossing the finish line first, but to see how colorful one can get along the route.
Participants can register ahead of time or on the day of the race.
Advance registration by Sept. 4 is $25. It is $30 afterward.
Applications will be available on the museum’s website, www.fredericremington.org or in the museum lobby.
Packets, which include a include a shirt, bib number and sunglasses, can be picked up at the museum on Sept. 18 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Packets will also be available starting at 9 a.m. race morning at the Dobisky Visitors' Center.
All participants signed up in advance will receive a t-shirt and a pair of sunglasses.
The event is free to children younger than 7, who may participate with a waiver signed by a registered parent.
