CRANBERRY LAKE – The Cranberry Lake Boat Club’s fourth annual Cardboard Boat Race takes place Saturday, July 28 at the Cranberry Lake Lodge.
Adirondack Trail & Outfitters, Saranac Lake, will be on hand to demo kayaks, canoes and stand-up paddleboards. Music will be performed by Giant and the Green Foam.
Everyone is welcome and encouraged to build a boat with cardboard, paint and duct tape. Boat construction and registration information is available at www.cranberrylakeboatclub.org under “upcoming events.”
Music begins and the concession stand opens at 11 a.m.; cardboard boat inspection is at 11:30 a.m.; the race starts at 2 p.m.
