POTSDAM -- Power skating specialist Karen Healey will lead a four-week school for hockey players starting July 17 at Clarkson University’s Cheel Arena.
Two-hour sessions will run from 6:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday during the period.
The first hour is on-ice training with the focus on explosive power, quickness, agility, balance and strength. Hockey players will be required to wear all of their equipment and to bring their sticks.
The second hour will be in the office. Players should wear t-shirt, shorts and sneakers.
The cost is $275.
