CANTON -- The Children’s Home of Jefferson County will host a foster parenting information session on Sunday, Aug. 7 at 10:00 a.m. in the library of St. Mary’s School, 2 Powers St.
The session will help people interested in adoption and becoming a foster parent learn about the CHJC Foster Care Program before foster parenting classes begin on Thursday, Sept. 15.
Foster Care Program staff will be on hand to answer questions and speak with potential foster parents in a casual setting with light refreshments provided.
