OGDENSBURG -- Fort de La Presentation Association will honor city councilor Jennifer Stevenson at its fall social at 7 p.m. Friday at the Sherman Inn.
Stevenson will receive the Persis Yates Boyesen Award, while the St. Lawrence County Youth Corps will receive the David L. Dickinson Volunteer Award.
The fort association will also unveil the new Joseph Cosentino Award, in honor of the well-known community volunteer who died earlier this year.
The event will feature hors d’oevres, cupcakes and a cash bar.
Tickets are $25 and can be purchased from the Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce or online at http://www.fort1749.org/ Proceeds from the event will Abbé Picquet Trail.
