OGDENSBURG -- The Fort Association annual dinner and fundraiser will be held Oct. 19 at the Gran View Restaurant, Route 37 Ogdensburg, at 5:30 p.m. and will honor Larry Mix and Anne-Marie Johnson.
The cost of the dinner is $35. Local electrician Larry Mix is to be presented the David Dickinson Volunteer Award acknowledging his years of service ensuring Founder's Day Weekend is connected with a safe, reliable power supply.
Anne-Marie Johnson, the late site/visitor manager for Fort Wellington will be presented with the Persis Yates Boysen Award for her contribution to the advancing the history of Fort de La Présentation.
A silent auction will be held that contributes to the Fort Association fund to rebuild Fort de La Présentation.
