MASSENA — Former WWE stars will mix it up inside the ring with up-and-coming talent and some familiar local talent at a taping for Tommy Dreamer’s House of Hardcore.

The wrestling company, which Dreamer founded in the fall of 2012, will debut June 2 at Massena Arena, 180 Harte Haven Plaza.

House of Hardcore’s slogan is "No Politics, No BS, Just Wrestling."

The show will begin around 8 p.m. and is expected to last about 3 hours. Doors open around 6 p.m. so fans can get autographs, photos with wrestlers and purchase merchandise.

Matches will be taped for House of Hardcore’s weekly show on Wednesdays which is aired on https://www.twitch.tv/houseofhardcore/videos/all.

Following the success of both Fight for the Mind events in Massena, Dreamer knew he wanted to bring his promotion to the area, according to former pro wrestler and Massena native Shaun Balaban. Balaban promoted two wrestling shows in Massena that raised money for the Alzheimer’s Association.

Wrestlers scheduled to appear include former TV stars “The Innovator of Violence” Tommy Dreamer, “Mr. Ass” Billy Gunn, Braxton Sutter, Guido, Angelina Love, The Squad and Bull James.

Up and coming talent includes Alex Reynolds, MJF and RJ City. Also locals Shooter Storm, Payne the Hellraizer and Myzery the Barbarian are expected to be featured on the card.

Shooter Storm of Massena will make his return following hire retirement at Fight for the Mind 3 in Massena last year.

He had stated he would only consider wrestling again for a major wrestling company, such as House of Hardcore.

The champion, Willie Mack, will also wrestle on the show. He has been featured on House of Hardcore, as well as Lucha Underground Pro Wrestling Guerrilla.

Tickets start at $15 and front row was sold out prior to any wrestlers or matches being announced. The building holds around 2,200 people. Tickets will be sold online up until the day of the show, and then only available at the door.

If successful, House of Hardcore expects to hold wrestling events once or twice a year, possibly even a pay-per-view.
