POTSDAM -- Kathleen Kennedy Townsend will participate in a panel discussion titled "Women 'Leaning In' to Attain Power: Pro's and Con's of Sheryl Sandberg's notion on the Empowerment of Women" April 11 at 2 p.m.
The discussion will be held in Kellas Hall, SUNY Potsdam. Kennedy-Townsend is a former Maryland lieutenant governor, and the eldest daughter of former United States Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy.
She will also give a keynote speech at 7:30 p.m. April 11 titled “Women Taking Power Seriously." Her appearance will be sponsored by the Potsdam History Association of SUNY Potsdam.
