POTSDAM -- SUNY Potsdam’s Economic Fusion Day on Wednesday, April 20, features former CEO of Guitar Center and Fender Musical Instruments Larry Thomas delivering a keynote speech at 3 p.m. in the college’s Performing Arts Building.
From 4 to 6 p.m. is Schmooze-A-Palooza, offering representatives from the public and private sectors an opportunity to meet SUNY Potsdam students who may have an innovative business idea to pitch, seek feedback on their resume or meet with prospective employers.
There is also a Creative Idea Competition from 1 to 3 p.m. designed to promote a spirit of entrepreneurship and highlight creative and innovative ideas. There is a top prize of $500.
