POTSDAM – The Food Sense Program is accepting applications for families looking to stretch their budget.
The food package for February includes one pound of ground beef, polish sausage, fish sticks, and white rice. Also to be included will be turkey, pierogies, chocolate chip cookie mix, frozen produce, sliced carrots, and applesauce. The package costs $15.50.
There are monthly specials for stuffed pork chops, popcorn chicken, shrimp, mozzarella sticks and more. For details visit a participating location.
Participants must order by Feb. 6 at any of three locations including The Potsdam Neighborhood Center, 2 Park St.; Canton Neighborhood Center; 5 West St. #2; or Helping Hands, 5868 State Hwy. 56, Hannawa Falls.
Orders must be picked up Feb. 20.
