CANTON — Fitness classes will be offered March 13 through April 22 at St. Lawrence University. Registration opens March 6.
Classes include “Adding Life to Your Years: Seniors Strength and Toning” on Mondays and Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. “Strength/Tone/Core and More” with Lisa Francey Towle will be offered Tuesday and Thursday from 8 to 9 a.m.
“High Energy Cycling” with Christine Tulikangas will be held Mondays and Wednesday from 5 to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 until 10 a.m. “Spring Express” with Lisa Francey Towle takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 to 9:30 a.m.
“Cardio/Intervals and Core” takes place with Lisa Francey Towle from 9:30 until 10 a.m. on Tuesdays. “Ballet/Yoga Cardio” with Lisa Francey Towle is set for Thursdays from 9:30 to 10 a.m.
“Core Yoga with Len Mackey is slated for Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 until 2 p.m. “POUND” with Felicia Neahr is set for Thursdays from 6 to 7 p.m.
“Cycling” with Larry Jenne is planned on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5 to 6 p.m. “Turbo Kicking” with Felicia Neahr is set for Tuesdays from 6 to 7 p.m.
“Chair Yoga” with Ellie Beeler will be offered on Fridays from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. “Latin Cardio Class” with Karen Kus is planned Mondays and Thursdays from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The cost is $10 for the “Latin Cardio Class” for faculty and staff, sponsored by the Wellness Committee. The cost for 30 minus classes, two times per week is $30; 60 minutes classes twice a week costs $60; and a Fitness Wellness Card coast $40.
All classes are held in the Stafford Fitness Center at SLU.
