CRANBERRY LAKE -- The Cranberry Lake Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department will host their "First Strike" ice fishing derby Jan. 30.
Registration is $40 per person and will go from 4 to 7 a.m. at the fire hall.
Fishing will be from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Cranberry Lake only.
All state DEC laws and regulations apply.
Kids 12 and under can register for the perch derby for $10 or join the adults in the pike derby for $40.
Prizes will be given away at 4 p.m. at the fire hall.
