OGDENSBURG -- First Presbyterian Church is taking September orders for the Food Sense program.
Food Sense is a monthly food program available to all people in the area.
The September list, for $15.50, includes 1 lb. Italian meatballs, 12 oz. veal patties, 1 lb. Italian sausage, 1 lb. pollock filets, 1 lb. ground chicken, 12 oz. stuffed rigatoni, a 5.3-oz. supreme pizza, 26 oz. spaghetti sauce, 11 oz. mixed vegetables, 14.5 oz. diced tomatoes and fresh produce.
Specials are 10 lbs. of chicken tender fritters for $10.50, 2 lbs. of apple and cranberry-stuffed pork chops for $9.25, 5 lbs.of American cheese (not individually wrapped) for $13.35, 5 lbs. of ocean perch filets for $16, 2.5 lbs. of skinless/boneless chicken great for $5 and 10 lbs. of onion rings for $11.
Order times are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 9 to 11.
Orders will be taken at Riverview Towers Sept. 11 from noon to 12:30 p.m.
Delivery date is Sept. 25 from noon to 1:30 p.m.
Orders must be picked up at those times or will be donated to the neighborhood center.
