CANTON -- The TAUNY Center, 53 Main St., will hold its monthly First Friday Jam hosted by fiddler Gretchen Koehler and singer/guitarist Barb Heller from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 4. Participants are invited to bring an instrument, singing voice, or just enjoy the company at the monthly jam session. Fiddles, guitars, percussion and other traditional instruments as well as step dancers of all skills levels are welcome. Old time fiddle and traditional American folk tunes will be played at a variety of speeds and sheet music, words and chords will be provided. Info: www.tauny.org.
