MASSENA -- The New York Power Authority will hold free Friday matinees in October, with showings of classical and contemporary movies at the Hawkins Point Visitors Center auditorium. Free popcorn will be provided.
October show times are:
“Darling Companion” will be shown Oct. 5 at 1:30 p.m. The film shows the story of a woman who loves her dog more than her husband.
“What to Expect When You’re Expecting” will be shown Oct. 12 at 1:30 p.m. The film depicts fiver interconnected couples who are having babies and how having a child impacts relationships.
“Bernie” will be shown Oct. 19 at 1:30 p.m. The film will show the story of a Texas mortician who befriends a wealthy widow before killing her.
“It Happened One Night” will be shown Oct. 26 at 1:30 p.m. The film tells the story of a spoiled heiress who runs away from her family and is helped by a man who is actually a reporter looking for a story.
