RUSSELL -- Fireworks, frog jumping, music and more will entertain guests at Russellfest Saturday and Sunday.
At noon Saturday, events kick off with a chicken barbecue. Cost is $8 for dinner and $5 for half.
Dinner includes macaroni, potato salad, baked beans, roll and desert. Takeouts are available and orders will be taken at the fire hall.
A block dance will begin at 8 p.m. with music by Paparazzi Scandal. Fireworks will be held at 10 p.m.
Events continue on Sunday with a frog jumping contest at 10 a.m. and a big wheel contest at 2 p.m. A parade will begin at 2 p.m.
The cook shack will be open all weekend.
