CANTON -- SUNY Canton’s Environmental Health and Safety Office will host a “Fire Safety Day” from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 2, on the Roselle Academic Plaza, located at the center of campus.
Highlights include a dorm fire demonstration at noon.
Students from the SUNY Canton Wood Structures class have constructed a model dorm room, which will be set ablaze and then extinguished by firefighters from the Canton Village Fire Department.
The event is free and open to the public.
