FINE -- The Town of Fine Historical Association is holding a Town Hall History Day Saturday, Aug. 19 in the hamlet from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
This event will showcase the rich history of the town, as well as the town hall building itself.
The event will be open to other local groups wishing to display their products or simply wishing to engage the public.
One goal of this event is to help raise awareness of the current condition of the town hall and its historical significance to the community.
There will be activities for all age groups including a free throw competition, tours of the old jail cells, live music, bake sale, silent auction and the Fine Fire Department will be host a chicken barbecue.
The association will be selling models of the town hall.
