CANTON -- The Christian Fellowship Center-Canton is sponsoring Financial Peace University, a 9-week course on personal financial management by best-selling author Dave Ramsey.
The course covers practical ways to climb out of debt, how to budget and plan for the future successfully, and how to take control of finances rather than have finances take control of you.
The course will meet at CFC-Canton, 52 Court St. (CFC shares the building with the Seventh Day Adventist Church) starting Wednesday, Jan. 25, from 7-9 p.m.
The class will be held each Wednesday until the end of March. Classes consist of a video presentation by Dave Ramsey followed by discussion and group activities lead by Bob Blewett, SLU economics professor.
There is no fee for the course other than course materials for each individual or family. The discounted cost is $84 if purchased at the class meeting ($102 including S&H if purchased online).
You may view a preview of the course online at www.daveramsey.com/fpu/preview/.
For more information, contact Bob Blewett at 229-5429, or 386-2408 or by email at blewett@stlawu.edu; or go to the Financial Peace University website at cfconline.org/fpu.
