The 51st annual event will last until Saturday, July 14 this year, and include a full schedule of Market Street stage performances, Touch-a-Truck, fireworks, Ives Park Art and craft fair, street vendors, food and other activities.
This year, the lower Market Street block will again be closed off to traffic. Businesses and vendors will have booths and kiosks set up. Blues, folk and rock entertainers will perform.
The annual Ives Park car show will again be set up Saturday along with various artisan displays and vendor tables.
The Orchestra of Northern New York will host its annual Symphony Junque Sale on Saturday at Pine Street Arena.
Most events at the festival are free.
