POTSDAM -- The North Country 350 Alliance (NC350) will show a new documentary film about North Country youth and climate change Tuesday, Dec. 16 at 7:30 p.m. in the Potsdam Village Civic Center Community Room, third floor above the library.
Parking is available in the rear by the Police Station entrance. “The Resilient Ones: A Generation Takes On Climate Change,” a one-hour documentary, explores how communities are adapting to climate change in the Adirondack Mountains of Northern New York, seen through the eyes of high school students.
A host of experts are interviewed as well including: Curt Stager, Professor of Natural Sciences, Paul Smith's College; Jerry Jenkins, Wildlife Conservation Society; and Ken Mudge, Dept. of Horticulture, Cornell University.
Admission is free but donations will be accepted.
