CANTON -- “Rising from the Ashes,” a documentary about genocide survivors Africa, who built a national cycling team, will be shown for free Feb. 23 at 2:30 p.m. in the Griffiths Arts Center, room 123, 23 Romoda Dr.
The feature-length film is about two worlds colliding, when cycling legend Jock Boyer moves to Rwanda, Africa, to help a group of struggling genocide survivors pursue their dream of a national team.
